Game words
- Card
A public GitHub repo with at least 100 stars: its name, owner, description, language, license, stars and tier.
- Floppy
The game’s pack: 5 cards pulled at random at the published odds. A free floppy every 10 minutes, up to 5 in stock. None are for sale.
- Stars
A repo’s GitHub stars, rechecked every night: they set its tier. A repo joins the catalog at 100 stars.
- Collection
All the public repos of one owner. Gather them to compile that owner’s collection: an album from 5 repos, an EP from 3.
- Bytes
The in-game currency, earned by playing (recycling, cron jobs, auctions). Bytes can’t be bought and are never converted into real money.
- Recycling
Sending a duplicate to the recycle bin for 1 B, whatever its tier.
- Gold Master
A rare variant of LTS cards, only for repos with at least 100,000 stars.
- Early adopter
Badge for a card pulled before its repo took off: the repo climbs at least 2 tiers after the pull and reaches Beta or higher.
